The USAID-USFS Forest Oversight and Resource Strengthening Program (FOREST+) collaborates with the Government of Peru to fulfill international climate change commitments by promoting sustainable, multiple-use forest management in three key regions of the Peruvian Amazon- Loreto, Ucayali and Madre de Dios.

The program works in close coordination with SilvaCarbon and SWAMP, two programs that are integral to the overarching objective of FOREST+ by strengthening capacity in carbon monitoring and peatland research.
